A bunch of upscale homes went in next to the airport and the same thing happened.

Not as big a dickhead as Bryan Adams, who came to live in London because it`s a tax haven to foreigners, bought a pub near his house, which had been there for generations, and shut it down because he could. He then incorporated the building into his own property. This is in a quiet neighbourhood, and the pub wasn`t even a live venue. It was a historic landmark, though. Like I said, DICKHEAD. He also shagged his assistant, knocked her up and then dumped her. I know this from somebody who used to work for him.

This happens more and more in a town near where I live but along the river. People go to float the river all summer long and it brings in a huge amount of income to the city. The houses on the river become more valuable, rich people buy them up, then they try to get the laws changed to keep people from floating the river ie. trying to put a cap on noise levels, alcohol, and other fun stuff that goes along with floating the river. but their property wouldnt be worth so much and so desirable to begin with if it wasnt a river floating destination town. sad.

Do you drive really slow down the street, and cause other people to hit the yellow... and when they try to pass you, you speed up and race them so they can`t get back in front of you? Does that make you a *head? Yes, it does.

A similar thing happened to a local venue near where I live. A couple of neighbors complained that the music was too loud and wanted the city to do something about the noise. *facepalm*

The same as happened around this city with people who moved in next to industries, railroad tracks, event venues, etc. Sorry, folks, the world was here before you arrived.

This is basically what happened to a great music venue in Sacramento, The Distillery. I hate people sometimes.
