Blowing up the church was pretty awesome. We have a bit of a power vacuum now that tommen is dead. I guess this will make it easier for Daenerys. Arya was able to cover a lot of ground very quickly. I do like how they use the punishment in the old story from a couple of seasons ago. But now she's been reduced to a psychopathic killer. She really needs to be killed off before they completely ruin her character. I'm sure she'll kill the next person on her list using her laser vision. The storyline of John.... it just doesn't fit or make any sense. It's like the writers of the show just scan the internet for ideas and went with the worst fan Theory. I can understand why that would keep things secret but why would he not tell Catlin? If his sister got pregnant wouldn't everyone know? Why would a sister be kept at some random keep what is she been at Dragonstone or King's Landing? Lyanna mormount is without a doubt one of the world's greatest politicians. It's amazing that such a political genius is only 9 years old. More likely she's just reading the speeches that her advisers wrote.

They should make it up to the penultimate episode then axe the show. That would be the ultimate GRRM moment.

Lyanna Mormont deserve to rule the 7 kingdoms! She is at the top in my Got characters chart now.

Agreed. The worst part? Having TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT APRIL! And @ HG, I thought there was only one more season to go?

7 is on for sure and while nothing else has been ordered, most conjecture is there will at least be an 8. However 7 and 8 may be shortened to 8 episodes each instead of 10.

That intro scene was BEAUTIFULLY done. At first I didn't really like the music. It was odd and awkward and haunting and just didn't fit the mood of the trial. But after the kids started getting stabby, I finally understood what was going on and it all fit together like the last missing puzzle piece in a jigsaw. It almost made the rest of the show seem rushed. Peter Dinklage's facial expressions in the scene where Tyrion gets named "Hand of the Queen" were absolutely heartwrenching. He is absolutely amazing. I don't know how the heck he could convey SO MUCH MEANING in a few facial kinks. I also loved that scene where Lyanna Mormont calls out all of the Lords of the North. She is a TOTAL bada$$. Arya's facial expression was also very interesting...it was almost TOO cold and unfeeling. I'm wondering if her character was mentally broken by her experiences and isn't sane anymore.

my mom and sister think the same thing about arya. i also loved the scene with little lady mormont, she is totally an absolute badass! House Mormont answered the call! i mean, they answered with only 62 men, but still, lady mormont herself was there in the background during the parley between jon snow and ramsay bolton, looking like an absolute badass. and apparently the sigil on the shield jon snow used to defend himself from ramsay botlons arrows was a bear, sigil of house mormont.

cersei blew up the great sept of baelor, killing kevan lannister, lancel lannister, margaery tyrell, loras tyrell, mace tyrell, and the high sparrow, grand maester pycell was brutally stabbed to death by qyburns "little birds" and king tommen jumped from a window to his death. sam finally made it to the beautiful oldtown, with a cool gigantic library. jon sent melisandre away because davos wanted to kill her for convincing stannis to burn princess shireen at the stake, then sansa tells jon that a white raven arrived from oldtown (we saw them leaving upon sams arrival), after six seasons, winter has finally come. grandma tyrell is making a pact with the sand snakes of dorne, and varys is also there. daenerys sent daario naharis away, which is ok, i mean he was pretty and clever, but he was no khal drogo. and then dany made tyrion the hand of the queen. littlefinger is being creepy as usual and wants the iron throne and sansa to be his queen. arya inexplicably made it from pentos to westeros in no time at all and killed walder frey and baked his sons into a pie. benjen "coldhands" stark left bran and meera, and bran learned jon snow is the son of lyanna stark, not ned stark, just as everyone assumed. and then the north declared jon snow, the guy who knows nothing, king of the north. cersei made herself queen of the iron throne. and danaerys is finally making her way to westeros. now we only have a year to wait to find out what happens next. in the meantime i recommend everyone check out westworld which premiers in october. anybody also check out the season finale of silicon valley? bachmanity for the win! i havent seen the season finale of veep yet so no one say anything.

Arya can teleport and be in multiple places at once. That's what happens when you get stabbed and left for dead. You get superpowers, right?

Fucking awesome. Maybe the single best episode of television I've ever seen. Most of this season was a slow burn, but the final two episodes were fantastic. I knew cersei would have something planned, but I didn't expect it to be that definitive. The (fairly obvious) Jon Snow theory that has been floating since season one finally got confirmed. That, along with Danny saying she'll marry to secure power makes it pretty perfect for them to marry each other to combine the North and South. Targaryans do marry each other. I knew Tommen was going to kill himself this season. The bad guys were on his side and we couldn't root for the good guys to kill him, he's too nice. Are they setting us up for Danny / Starks / Tyrells / Dorn Vs. Cersei / Iron Born for season 7 and then Living Vs. Dead for season 8?
