Steve Bannon, the Alt-Right proponent, and self-proclaimed National Socialist (a fancy name for a nazi) now holds more power than anyone in America, second only to Trump. As Trump downgraded the roles of the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the director of national intelligence, he gave Bannon a full seat on the "principals committee" of the National Security Council. The the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the director of national intelligence will now attend only when the council is considering issues in their direct areas of responsibilities.
In one weird fell swoop, he went from conservative blogger, to a political adviser, to status alongside the secretaries of state and defense, and over the president’s top military and intelligence advisers.
What does this mean in basic terms? The Guardian in the UK observes Trump's latest move as "consequence of incompetence," They write. "The predictable result of an under-qualified real estate mogul struggling to master the most powerful and demanding job on the planet."
So that's how England looks at you, America. w/b: fancylad
