Bill Maher's Opening Monolog This Past Weekend Sort Of Nailed The State Of The Nation, Didn't It?

No matter what side of the fence you're on, you gotta admit, Maher's spotlight on the facts were spot on. Sans a few jokes, when you boil it down, Maher's monolog on the last seven days is sort of like a wake-up call and a slap on the face all in one swoop.

You can attack grammar and spelling, but it shows your limited thinking. It shows a lack of thought. It shows you can't grasp ideas. It is sad that spelling is more important than ideas to some people.
At least Trump doesn't waste his time on facts.

Is it just me or has the number of grammatical errors lately increased?  Not gonna point out every single one, but lately it has seemed a bit excessive.  I picked this one to comment on as there are two in the title.  Should read:

Bill Maher's Opening Monolouge Last Night Sort Of Nailed The State Of The Nation(some form of punctuation here) Didn't It?

Now I'm not normally a grammar nazi or anything, and don't even know the correct form of punctuation that should be used there, it just seems excessive to me lately.  Worse than usual.

waldo863 I'm thinking a comma works.

wellsy57 A comma works, so does a period and a new sentence.  I believe a semi-colon would actually be the correct thing to use in this particular case, but not entirely sure on that.  All three would possibly work, but I think that only one is correct.  Again, not a grammar nazi or anything, so I don't really know.
