They should just rename his show "What Did The Conservatives Do To Upset Maher This Week?" Here are a few highlight's from his show this weekend.

His show this week was especially filled with political partisanship. Watch his interview above with Jeffrey Lord:

Bill asks a question about why Trump has supporters.
Jeffrey responds with an answer about people perceiving contempt.
Bill IGNORES HIS ARGUMENT about the democratic perspective and focuses only on a single quote from Clinton.
Jeffrey corrects him that it was a general perspective.
Bill then proceeds to rifle off a generalization about republicans hating democrats and letting the ends justify the means. Then his question was "I'm right, aren't I?"

It goes on, but he is using every unacceptable debate tactic to destabilize the interview. I guess my point is that his tactics are subtly deceitful and biased.

My head hasn't stopped spinning from the FCC business, the wiretapping nonsense, the Russian hide-and-seek and all of the other situations that have been happening, but now the crap is starting with the EPA.  Great.  Sure, pull funding from environmental research because you think global warming is made up by the Chinese, but why also remove protections from water sources?  i understand that it makes things easier for your big business buddies to spend less of their personal paychecks having to be concerned about damaging the planet, but can't there be someone who says that its a bad thing to pollute the water that we drink and the water that feeds the land on which we live?  This is the most blatant case of "let them eat cake" that has been pulled so far.  Why would we need to worry about water when we drink champagne to celebrate our victories!

kuman mitigating climate change may cost the world's rich a little but benefits the whole world's population. Thus some of the rich deny all facts to their advantage.

As for domestic water sources, what makes you think these people care more about ordinary Americans than poor foreigners?

kuman Strumpy is pulling funding and regulations from all the EPA mandates (Air, Water, Products etc ) so Big Businesses like his own can have an unfettered means of making money without having to worry about the damages their actions might cause to others or the environment

thezigrat Yeah, i know why he's doing it.  Big business will always be big business.  Especially true when the guy who is now "in charge" of the EPA used to work in Oklahoma for fossil fuels (i say used to even though he's still acting like he's on their payroll).  These people who are amassing money do have children that they can pass their legacies on to, but what use is all that money if they have no planet to live on.  Sadly, no matter how much we complain/talk about it, some things will never change.  After all, the department of science and technology removed the word "science" from their description because they don't want research, they just want [cheap] results without all of the messy research science requires.  This government situation is making me sad and tired.
